话说给Gamma Ray做精选那是很有难度，特别是面对一大堆如此优秀的歌曲的时候，曾经想做过但都不知道如何选择，这次来挑精选是有原则的：一张专辑仅限两首。（99和01的除外，为了弄开头和结束曲）这样总算做成了这个双CD精选。

1989-2009,伟大的Gamma Ray走过了整整20个年头，这支我无比膜拜的圣团给我们带来了太多好听的歌曲。一直想发Gamma Ray的无损全集，经过了很久很久的酝酿，今天给大家带来全部9张录音室专辑的无损以及精心写出的全部碟评，一同感受Gamma Ray，一同感受力量金属的极致魅力！！

Gamma Ray 1989 Heading For Tomorrow

做为乐队核心的Kai hansen离开南瓜头组建Gamma Ray后的第一张作品，很明显这张专辑是奠定Gamma Ray基石的重量级作品，而且成为87年南瓜头的专辑《》后有一张力量金属的实力佳作！不愧被誉为力量金属之父，Hansen再次展现了他的绝世才华，带领着刚组建的Gamma Ray一炮打响，从此开始了和Helloween鼎立的德国力量金属时代！
第一首《Welcome》是专辑序曲，金属中的不少专辑开头都会有首序曲，但大多数比较一般，但Gamma Ray就是要连序曲都比别人出色，《Welcome》成了Gamma Ray大多数演唱会的开场曲。
第二首《Lust For Life》展现了当时的Gamma Ray所有的优点，第一次出现了Gamma Ray最经典的进行曲式Riff（爱死这样的Riff了！），加上速度型的Solo和主唱Ralf Scheepers细腻高亢嗓音的完美融合，《Lust For Life》同样是演唱会上不可或缺的经典曲目。
第三首《Heaven Can Wait》和Helloween的《I Want Out》比较像，展现出了青春活力和积极向上的乐观精神，Hansen创作了大量的类似的歌曲，金属中有如此轻松愉快的歌曲也只有Hansen能写的出来。
第四首《Space Eater》中有Gamma Ray另一种扫荡型的Riff，很爽很甩（01年专辑中的《Eagle》和这首很像），虽然刚开始冰冰的，但Ralf Scheepers的“Space Eater”一声无比高亢的嗓音实在火热。
第五首《Money》有着明显那个时代的印迹，而且歌曲很热闹，节奏变换也很快，后半部分不停重复的“Money，Money，Money，Money”十分可爱。
第六首《The Silence》是首很好听的慢速歌曲，既不像Heavenly的慢速歌曲那么动人，也不像Helloween的那么抒情，《The Silence》是柔中带韧，而且高潮处采用了合唱，像是一首激励性质的颂歌，“Carry on,carry on”的合唱铿锵有力、慷慨激昂，我甚至能感受到节奏在天空中回荡。其实95年还有一首Hansen版的《The Silence》，但很明显不如Ralf Scheepers的这样引人，不是说Hansen的嗓音不好（相反，我一直认为Hansen的嗓音非常棒，虽然不够高亢但尖利，但非常适合速度感强烈的特别是中后期的作品），只是Ralf Scheepers的更适合这首歌曲。
第七首《Hold Your Ground》又是一首精彩的作品，不知道为什么，我有一种把这首歌曲当Gamma Ray所在地汉堡队队歌的奇怪愿望！
第八首《Free Time》的开头有点儿朋克的味道，而且有着莫利.克鲁那样80年代美式重金味道，非常爽耳。
第九首《Heading For Tomorrow》实在太经典太重量级了，甚至让我有一种敬畏的感觉。复杂的编曲、精心的节奏变换、引人入胜的大合唱简直是无以复制！将近十五分钟的时间里集中展现了Gamma Ray所有能够展现的特点，快节奏和慢节奏虽然复杂但错落有致，Gamma Ray极佳的音乐掌控能力在这首歌曲里得到最完美的诠释。毫不夸张的说，《Heading For Tomorrow》就是用节奏编制的交响曲，庄严肃穆但又荡气回肠！！
第十首《Look At Yourself》虽然没有什么特点，但其实还是很好听的，不过我想要是把这首提前，把《Heading For Tomorrow》放在最后更好一些，更加令人回味。

Gamma Ray 1991 Sigh No More
如果说任何一个乐队都有起伏那么这张专辑应该是一个低谷，因为严重偏离了Gamma Ray所固有的风格，这张是批评者最“宠爱”的一张，我个人感觉这张的确是比较一般，除了我特别喜欢的那首《One With The World》外，再想挑出比较好的曲目来的确比较困难。不过不喜欢归不喜欢，总有喜欢的人，MA上就有不少给高分的。
第一首《Changes》，没有太多力量味道但80年代重金属痕迹明显，有些许先锋味道，旋律还是很不错的。话说89年专辑的80味道都没有这么浓。
第二首《Rich And Famous》，开头就是典型的旋律美感Riffs，这种旋律是Hanson所擅长的，无论是在南瓜头还是直到最近的07专辑，几乎每张专辑里面都可以找到类似的歌曲，虽然类似但绝不雷同，Hanson实在高明啊！结束时Ralf的口哨声让人印象很深刻。
第三首《As Time Goes By》，虽然仍是80味道淡曲风快了很多，这首歌得到的评价还是很高的，至少旋律上面很有特点，但我看来确实和其他名曲来比有不小差距。
第四首《(We Won't) Stop The War》，这首歌的名字估计是处在冷战时期的影响。一首重金，和Gamma Ray的固有风格相差实在太大，听了也算不少遍了但始终难以接受，不过如果假象到这不是Gamma Ray的歌曲再去听倒感觉还蛮不错的。
第五首《Father And Son》，这首连重金都不是了，半Glam半Rock，也带有些许先锋味道，旋律很好听，缺点同第四首一样。
第六首《One With The World》，这张专辑中最好听的一首，也是Gamma Ray的经典曲目，开头的鼓点儿和Solo都是Gamma Ray风格，无论是旋律还是编排还是合唱都堪称绝佳，听过后真有一种荡气回肠的感觉。
第七首《Start Running》，开头的Solo很好听，本张专辑中比较好听的曲目之一，也是Ralf展现歌喉的好曲目，话说早期的不少歌曲Ralf都是一大亮点，可惜之后不够明智跑掉了。
第八首《Countdown》，这首也不错，很好的平衡了80年代和现代重金，有比较多的Solo。
第九首《Dream Healer》，终于有除了《One With The World》的另一首好听的歌曲，这才是Gamma Ray嘛，旋律感强的节奏和进行曲般的Riff都是如此引人入胜，编排也很不错，虽然有6分多钟但丝毫不感觉长。
第十首《The Spirit》，不知何故专辑的后面几首都很不错，这首速度感和旋律都是上上乘，高潮部分的节奏加强也是很有画龙点睛之效。


Gamma Ray 1993 Insanity & Genius
93年这张专辑的处境和91专辑差不多，甚至更糟糕一些，但由于有几首非常经典的曲目获得的赞赏还是不少的。总之这张专辑的水平参差不齐，
第一首《Tribute to the Past》，开头曲很是经典，节奏感十足的鼓点和Solo后Ralf的表演就开始了，这首曲目展现了Ralf的高耸嗓音，特别是层层推进式的高难度唱法在Ralf的演绎下竟是如此稀松平常。
第二首《No Return》，没错，这首代表了当年Gamma Ray的主要风格，旋律不错，Ralf的表演也在继续。
第三首《Last Before the Storm》，几乎是演唱会必备的超经典曲目，个人很是偏爱，速度和旋律无疑是乐队最出色的风格体现，Solo和Riff是调动气氛的绝佳手段，特别是唱到“And Last Before the Storm”的时候所有人都会心中激动好一阵子。
第四首《The Cave Principle》，整首有种迷幻的色彩，像雾气似的，透过去还基本是90重金风格，略显平淡。
第五首《Future Madhouse》，开头诙谐的Solo几乎和89专辑中的“money、money、money…”一样的无奈，这味道俺实在接受不了，好在这张专辑后就再也没有出现过。
第六首《Gamma Ray》，即使是现在，我也无论如何也无法想象这是一首乐队同名曲，当初感觉同名曲怎么也得是《Heading For Tomorrow》那种严谨、庄严的曲目吧，但结果……，亏了亏了，乐队名给浪费了，这种歌曲也就起个名字然后放到Bonus Track里就得了。
第七首《Insanity & Genius》，不知道为啥这首听了也算不少遍了但很多时候还是经常记不得里面的旋律，呵呵，同上，这首弄成专辑同名曲也亏了。
第八首《18 Years》，这首可以找到《Heading For Tomorrow》的影子来，节奏有比较相似的地方，但旋律上就没法比了，总之比上两首要好。
第九首《Your Turn Is Over》，现在我也没弄明白这首歌的主唱是哪位，嗓音也算不错但只能说适合重金老炮——好在这首歌基本也就是重金。
第十首《Heal Me》，这首倒是很经典，值得一提的是中后段几个人的类似“狂想曲”中特有的独白唱段让人印象非常深刻。
第十一首《Brothers》，最后一段不错，其他的还是老毛病——平淡、乏味，该批评的都批评完了。


Gamma Ray 1995 Land Of The Free

这张专辑是Ralf Scheepers离队后Hansen担任主唱的第一张专辑，Hansen源源不断的创作能力加上自己担当的主唱角色使这张专辑不但是Gamma Ray的巅峰而且是Hansen个人创作的巅峰。虽然1995年时的Gamma Ray经历了队内矛盾等不少变故险些解散，但这张专辑却给了所有人很强的信心从而使Gamma Ray坚持了下来，在Hansen的带领下化解了矛盾重新凝聚了起来。
《Land Of The Free》是许多人心目中Gamma Ray的巅峰之作，不但音乐好听而且艺术价值是这九张专辑中最高的，并由此入选了史上百大金属专辑，可以说是集大成之作，Gamma Ray的速度性、力量性、旋律性和霸气得以完美融合。《Land Of The Free》不仅是力量金属的典型代表作之一，而且在世界金属史上产生了深远影响。
第一首《Rebellion in Dreamland》是我超级喜欢的一首，由慢到快的节奏把人彻底引入了“自由之地”，
第二首《Man on a Mission》，典型的Gamma Ray90年代风格，丰富的想象力美妙的旋律展露无疑，95、97专辑中这种类型的歌曲太多了。
第三首《Fairytale》，专辑的第一个引子。
第四首《All of the Damned》，很出色的曲目——说实话，95和97专辑的碟评最难了，曲目不但经典而且旋律上相似处很多，我更愿意把它们从整体上来评价，细细区别每首曲目的特点实在超出我的能力范围。
第五首《Rising of the Damned》，第二个引子。
第六首《Gods of Deliverance》，开头的鼓点儿和Solo很是不错，Hanson的演唱部分虽然并无特别之处，但曲子质量还是很高的。
第七首《Farewell》，Gamma Ray的柔情歌曲确实很少，而且大多都有一定的金属成分，特点是大气不矫情，这首《Farewell》是柔情歌曲中很有代表性的曲目。
第八首《Salvation's Calling》，Thrash的Riff的确够味道，曲目设计的很是精细。
第九首《Land of the Free》，同样是专辑同名曲，这首比上张的同名曲要好了太多太多了，《Land of the Free》这样的高水准才配得上同名曲嘛，完美得让我无从下笔了，什么旋律啊编排啊我自己都赞美的够多了，没啥词来形容了，唯一想做的是仔细聆听。
第十首《The Saviour》，引子真够多的，已经第三个了。
第十一首《Abyss of the Void》，演唱部分是这首曲子的最大亮点，特别是合唱很具有代表性，大胆想象一下去掉器乐部分会是什么感觉，呵呵，有点儿概念性了。
第十二首《Time to Break Free》，有种奇怪感觉——这是乡村音乐的金属版？再次想象一下去掉器乐之后——不就是现代的乡村音乐嘛，呵呵有点儿佩服自己的想象力了。
第十三首《Afterlife》，终于写到最后一首了，实在没啥词了，再写就是”写的没唱的好听了“，就到这里吧。


Gamma Ray 1997 Somewhere Out in Space
国外很多歌迷喜欢这张专辑甚至超过了《Land Of The Free》，可以说这张和《Land Of The Free》在细节上非常的相像，是一路承接而来的专辑，有种一气呵成的感觉。个人一直认为这张和《Land Of The Free》真的是难分伯仲，只是因为推出时间较《Land Of The Free》晚一些而使得重要程度稍逊一些，歌曲水准是完全相同的。


Gamma Ray 1999 Powerplant
这张在旋律感上非常的强，既保留了上两张成熟的旋律又不拘泥于单纯的Gamma Ray 90年代式的旋律，可以说这张是一个表面上并不明显的风格稍微变换的承上启下的作品，从这张专辑开始加入了更丰富的旋律上的元素


Gamma Ray 2001 No World Order!
被我称为旷世经典的一张专辑，虽然艺术价值不如《Land Of The Free》，但我认为这张专辑是所有专辑中最大气的，歌曲无比的张扬甚至是飞扬跋扈。Riff像炸弹一样狂轰滥炸，散发出横扫千军、气吞山河、摧枯拉朽的凌人气势，专辑封面上就已经表露出了君临天下、舍我其谁的霸气，是最爽的一张专辑。这张也是Illnath吉他手Pete最喜欢的专辑。
第一首《Induction》是序曲，同时是我有生以来听过最好听的序曲，虽然只有一分钟，但听得我是浑身快要燃烧了起来。
第二首《Dethrone Tyranny》，速度与力量兼备，鼓手与吉他手配合绝佳，Riff像快马一样呼啸而过。
第三首《The Heart of the Unicorn》可谓是生猛之极，节奏一快到底，RIff虽然简单没有过多变化但十分具有杀伤力，正如歌曲名字一样“独角兽之心”。Hansen尖锐的嗓音和普通语调相辅相成，很有震撼力甚至是一点点儿邪恶，这点来看上之前的主唱Ralf Scheepers。（我不止一次在讲Hansen和之前的主唱没有太多的可比性，他们的特点几乎完全不同，即使同一首歌曲两人唱出来的感觉完全不同，所以有人说Hansen的嗓音像奶油不如Ralf Scheepers是没有什么意义的）
第四首《Heaven or Hell》，这是我最早听到Gamma Ray的歌曲之一，这首歌曲的旋律和99专辑中的《Send Me A Sign》以及后来07专辑中的《Real World》非常相像，旋律简单重复，有一种朗朗上口的感觉，可以说上Gamma Ray入门级的佳作。

Gamma Ray 2005 Majestic
Gamma Ray速度型的经典之作，也是各种Gamma Ray特色的Riff大集合，虽然不如01那张十分大气，但《Majestic》是所有专辑中速度感最强烈的，大气，精致而又巧妙的编曲让耳朵极为受用，Kai Hansen高亢的嗓音和德意志式气势磅礴的riff让人热血沸腾，这也正是Gamma Ray最为优秀的特点！
第一首《My Temple》，作为专辑的第一首歌曲，该曲速度与力量兼具，开始的一段鼓点犹如冰雹向你砸来，当Kai Hansen开始演唱之后，一阵又一阵的riff不断袭来，让乐迷迅速进入了状态！
第二首《Fight》，交响气息浓重的开头之后又是一阵强力的riff，之后变化丰富的riff在Kai Hansen高亢的嗓音中显得极为饱满，“carry on,carry on,carry on!”,合声与Kai Hansen的嗓音不断交织，极富感染力。虽然此曲只有3分25秒，但Gamma Ray所有的优点都集中体现了出来，不愧是官方网站上乐迷投票选出的最好听的一首歌曲！
第三首《Strange World》，如果我非要我选出这张专辑中最好听的歌曲，那么我会选择这首。依旧是riff作为开头，但Kai Hansen的嗓音更加饱满，甚至有些邪恶！“such a Strange World!”多么震撼人心的一句！！1分56秒时节奏的突然转换让人耳不暇接，而高潮时的吉他solo更是让人疯狂！！流畅准确的吉他solo穿梭在 riff之中，简直无以伦比！！整首歌曲酣畅淋漓，完美的编曲以及乐队精湛的演绎让人如痴如醉！
第四首《Hell Is Thy Home》，开头的一阵solo像一面风墙向你压来，riff响起后把节奏逐渐带快，“Hell Is Thy Home” “where you belong” ，Kai Hansen的嗓音更加邪恶！！高潮出的双吉他对飙那个叫爽，合唱的加入更显大气！！
第五首《Blood Religion》,相对平静的开头之后，Kai Hansen犹如歌剧幽灵一般的一声“and we fall into the darkness of the world”引出了强劲的riff，在长达九秒的吼叫之后曲风加快，“Blood Religion”的合唱把歌曲带向了高潮曲风变缓之后不断反复的“into the dark,Blood Religion”的合唱仿佛把人带入了另一个世界。
第六首《Condemned To Hell》，一阵鼓点之后就是riff和演唱，一切中规中矩，虽然没有太多亮点，但非常好听，riff依然强劲，solo依然快速，值得一提的是结尾，相当好听！
第七首《Spiritual Dictator》，这一首同样中规中矩，是一首标准的Gamma Ray式歌曲，虽然非常好听，但由于整张专辑每首歌曲都很好听，所以就不算突出。非常值得一提的是2分46秒时节奏转变之后2分57秒到3分13秒的那一阵 riff，我认为是整张专辑这么多riff中最好听的一段，虽然不快，但犹如军队行军式的节奏极为好听！！(收录在了铃声里面)
第八首《Majesty》，这是专辑的同名歌曲，开始懒洋洋的鼓点中蕴含着巨大的能量，随着节奏的加快，能量逐渐爆发。Kai Hansen的一声“Majesty，oh Majesty”仿佛一直回荡在国王的宫殿里，非常宏大！！
第九首《How Long》，这首歌更像是一首heavy metal，没有太多力量的成份，不过即使以重金属的眼光来看，这首歌也是一首上乘之作，煽情的旋律与合唱不禁让人想起了Bon Jovi的《You give love a bad name》
第十首《Revelation》，作为专辑的最后一首歌曲，该曲长达8分半钟，前一部分的女生合唱像极了Rhapsody,是纯正的交响金属，而后面有一段则像是灵云，高潮时的旋律很催人奋进，作为专辑结束曲再合适不过。


Gamma Ray 2007 Land Of The Free II
05专辑虽然个人极为偏爱，但不可否认的是风格有一定程度的偏离Gamma Ray原有的旋律美感，而07发行的这张专辑个人认为又很大程度上回归了90年代的风格，这点从专辑名字上就可以体现出来。虽然专辑的整体质量和《Land Of The Free》稍有差距，但专辑本身的确有不少亮点值得去肯定和赞扬的。
第一首《Into The Storm》，标准的速度金属，作为开篇曲目非常合适，虽然气势和霸气稍微弱一些，但速度感和良好的旋律很好的弥补了这一不足，是首非常经典的曲目。
第二首《From The Aashes》，这首歌曲几乎完全继承了《Powerplant》时期的风格，速度感、力量感和气势都非常突出，特别是乐队的“杀手锏”之一的合唱和Hanson的Solo都有良好的展现，当然还少不了节奏感强烈的鼓点，这一切都造就了如此出色的《From The Aashes》，真是百听不厌。
第三首《Rising Again》，曲目中间的引子，感觉要比接下来的曲子更出色一些，呵呵。
第四首《To Mother Earth》，并无特别之处的一首曲目，快速的鼓点和Solo同时开动并不能表示这首多么出色，一味加速特别是鼓点儿的乏味节奏并不是Gamma Ray本身的特点，也不是擅长的。
第五首《Rain》，虽然同样有些平淡，但表现要比上一首好不少，节奏变换很是巧妙，甚至有一种很新鲜的感觉，有一定的创新，同时后半段大段大段的Solo也很是爽耳。
第六首《Leaving Hell》又是一首标准的速度金属，也是比较好听的，但模式化痕迹明显，记得第一次听这首歌的时候我几乎都能够猜到接下来的会是什么旋律，没办法，谁让我对Gamma Ray太熟悉了呢。
第七首《Empress》，经典曲目！旋律美感毋庸置疑，特别是编排极为出色，Hanson的嗓音和Riffs和乐队合声都恰到好处，节奏变换也十分巧妙，中间部分由木吉他变为电吉他再变为合声再变为双吉他轮番Solo再变为合声真是绝妙，特别值得一提的是末尾的一处点睛之笔，也是令我无数次兴奋的Thrash式经典Riff，如果你一直不明白什么是我经常提到的Gamma Ray式Riff，那这个就是这些经典的Riff之一了。
第八首《When The World》，很好的一首曲子，旋律不错高潮部分很是好听，Solo、Riff和合唱都是亮点，该有的元素都有了，经典曲目！
第九首《Opportunity》，这首歌开始部分曲速并不快，有一定的创新，整体来看还很不错但缺乏足够的亮点。
第十首《Real World》，早就说过Hanson几乎每张专辑都会来一两首“Hanson式旋律美感”曲目，这种风格从被大众深深铭记的《I Want out》开始到现在已经出现了很多首了，虽然节奏相仿但各有不同，这就是Hanson，类似的节奏照样能变着不同的方法来让大家陶醉。可以肯定的是“Hanson式旋律美感”的曲目仍然会延续下去，肯定会带来不同的美妙感受而且依旧大受欢迎。
第十一首《Hear Me Calling》，算算也有好几张专辑没有比较类似80年代重金风格的曲子了，不过这首也只是80年代重金的皮而已，细节部分还是近代风格占很大比重。
第十二首《Insurrection》，似乎Gamma Ray的长作总能够成为一大亮点，无论是当初举世闻名的《Heading For Tomorrow》还是这首同样10分以上的《Insurrection》都是如此，除了气势上不如外，其它地方《Insurrection》都毫不逊色，不得不佩服Gamma Ray举世无双的细腻编排和音乐的超强掌控能力，听到最后的感觉是即使这么长还是不过瘾！Gamma Ray真伟大！！

终于完了，全部的九张碟评到这里就全部结束了，面对100首左右的歌曲让我写出各自的特点而且不重样的确不是我能达到的，大家就将就着看吧。
有很多的音乐感受并不是语言所能够表达的，虽然已经无数次的聆听这九张专辑，但肯定还会有新的感受。

这就是Gamma Ray——现在和未来的：Forever Legend！！！
